Chris works for the EHRC in the English Regions Team where he is exploring how to advance equality of opportunity through Levelling Up funding, This follows successful work in Scotland and Wales on equality in City Region Deals. He has a particular interest in procurement and the use of community benefits to create greater diversity in skills and apprenticeships in key sectors where women, disabled people and people from ethnic minorities are currently under represented.
