For almost 15 years I have undertaken research and consultancy in Welsh Public Sector and was part
of the research team for the 2009 Barriers to Procurement Report. This report was adopted by
Welsh Government as policy and focused on improving access to public procurement opportunities.
I have a strong interest in procurement social value and utilising public procurement spend to deliver
value for future generations.
University of South Wales is a leading provider of applied procurement and supply chain
management education and a CIPS Centre of Excellence. We work closely with Welsh Government,
Cardiff Council, Caerphilly Council and NHS Shared Services (Wales) to help inform and shape
procurement policy and practice.
